These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the BareHome Goods Co. website and online store, and any purchases or services offered through it (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations in Canada and the province of British Columbia. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.
1. About BareHome Goods Co.
BareHome Goods Co. ("BareHome", "we", "our", or "us") is a home goods brand focused on thoughtful essentials designed to support a calmer, more intentional home. Our principal place of business is located at 789 W Pender St, Suite 700, Vancouver, BC, V6C 1H2, Canada.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Services, creating an account, or placing an order with BareHome Goods Co., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
You must be the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services and place orders. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, products, or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Services.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Services, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in any conduct that may harm BareHome, our customers, or other users of the Services.
4. Accounts, Accuracy, and Security
In order to use certain features of the Services, such as tracking orders or saving shipping information, you may choose to create a customer account. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when you create an account or place an order, and to promptly update such information as needed so that it remains accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. BareHome is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, edit or remove content, or cancel orders in our sole discretion, including if information you provide is inaccurate, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms.
5. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
All orders placed through the Services are offers to purchase products in accordance with these Terms. We may accept or reject any order in our sole discretion, including after you have received an order confirmation email. If we cancel or are unable to fulfill your order after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund for the amount charged using the original payment method, subject to the policies of your payment provider.
Prices for our products are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise noted and are subject to change without notice. Taxes, shipping fees, and any applicable duties will be added at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable laws.
We strive to display accurate product information, including pricing, availability, and descriptions. However, errors may occur. If we discover an error related to a product in your order, we will contact you with the correct information and provide you with the option to cancel the order or proceed with the corrected details.
You authorize us and our third-party payment processors to charge the payment method you provide when you place an order. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and that the information you provide is true and accurate.
6. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss
We currently ship to locations within Canada and may, from time to time, offer international shipping options. Shipping methods, estimated delivery times, and associated fees will be displayed at checkout. Any delivery dates or timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Risk of loss and title for products purchased from BareHome pass to you upon delivery of the products to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for lost or damaged shipments. However, we encourage you to contact us if an issue arises with your delivery so we can work with you to find a reasonable solution where possible.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery if the information you provide is incomplete or inaccurate.
7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
We want you to feel good about the items you bring into your home. Subject to the conditions below and any additional policies posted on our website, we may accept returns or exchanges within a specified period following delivery. Details regarding eligibility, timeframes, and return procedures are set out in our returns information on the site.
In general, to be eligible for a return or exchange, products must be in their original condition, unused, unwashed, and in the original packaging, unless they were received damaged or defective. Certain items, such as final sale products, personalized items, or items that for hygiene reasons cannot be resold once opened, may not be eligible for return or exchange.
Refunds, when approved, will typically be processed to the original method of payment, less any applicable shipping fees, within a reasonable time after we receive and inspect the returned products. Processing times may be affected by your bank or payment provider.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in Canada or your province or territory of residence. Where such laws provide you with non-excludable rights, those rights will apply in addition to any voluntary policies we offer.
8. Product Information, Care, and Colours
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the product descriptions, specifications, and care instructions provided on the Services are accurate and up to date. However, slight variations may occur due to manufacturing processes, material variation, or improvements to product design.
We also strive to display product colours as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that your device's display will accurately reflect the actual colours of the products. Minor differences in colour, texture, or finish between what you see on your screen and what you receive do not typically qualify as defects.
Please follow any care and usage instructions provided with the products or on the product pages. We are not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, failure to follow care instructions, or normal wear and tear.

All content and materials on the Services, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, product names, icons, and software (collectively, the "Content"), are owned by or licensed to BareHome Goods Co. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws in Canada and other jurisdictions.
"BareHome Goods Co." and any related names, logos, and product names are trademarks or trade dress of BareHome. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission, except to accurately identify our products or business.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, perform, or create derivative works from the Content, in whole or in part, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by BareHome and our licensors.
10. User Content and Feedback
From time to time, we may allow you to submit reviews, comments, photos, or other content ("User Content") through the Services or our social media channels. You are solely responsible for any User Content you submit and for ensuring that it does not infringe the rights of any third party or violate any laws.
By submitting User Content, you grant BareHome a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such User Content in any media, for any lawful purpose related to our business, including marketing and promotional purposes, without compensation to you.
You agree that you will not submit any User Content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable, or that contains personal information about others without their consent. We may, but do not have an obligation to, monitor, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion.
If you choose to provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about our products or Services ("Feedback"), you acknowledge that we may use such Feedback without restriction and without any obligation to compensate you.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by BareHome. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, products, services, or practices of any third parties.

To the extent we use third-party service providers for functions such as payment processing, shipping, analytics, or marketing, those providers may have access to your information as reasonably necessary to perform their functions, subject to our agreements with them and our Privacy Policy.

Without limiting the foregoing, BareHome disclaims all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected. Your use of the Services is at your own risk, and you are responsible for implementing appropriate security safeguards, such as up-to-date antivirus software, to protect your devices and data.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, the scope and duration of any applicable warranty will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will BareHome Goods Co., our affiliates, or our respective directors, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services or any products purchased through the Services.
Without limiting the foregoing, and to the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or any products you purchase through the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the product or service giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages or liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BareHome Goods Co., our affiliates, and our respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your access to or use of the Services or products.
- Your breach of these Terms or any other applicable policies.
- Your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
- Any User Content you submit or make available through the Services.
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defences.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms, the Services, and any disputes arising out of or relating to them will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the courts of the Province of British Columbia, located in Vancouver, and you hereby irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such courts.
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact us at hello@barehomegoodsco.ca and provide a brief written description of the dispute and your contact information. We will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally within a reasonable time.
17. Changes to the Services
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, including by changing or discontinuing products, features, or pricing. We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services, except as required by applicable law.
If we discontinue or materially change a product or service after you have placed an order but before it is fulfilled, we will notify you and provide you with options which may include a refund, substitution, or other reasonable remedy where appropriate.
18. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with any additional policies or terms expressly referenced herein (including our Privacy Policy) and any purchase terms presented to you at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and BareHome Goods Co. with respect to the subject matter and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral.
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of BareHome.
